Almost all tech companies, eCommerce sites and social media sites are continuously launching their AI, In this regard, Facebook Meta has presented the latest version of its Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant, Meta AI, powered by the latest advancements with its large language model (LLM), Meta Llama 3.
In a recent press release, Meta Artificial Intelligence Assistant said that it is free for users and can be used on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp , and Facebook Messenger. The same is also available on meta.ai website for computer users.
Furthermore, in a release, the company said that, Meta AI is being launched in more countries. Earlier, this Meta Artificial Intelligence was available only in the USA, the assistant is being rolled out in English in more than several other countries.
As per the press release, these latest updates are partial for Meta AI on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and on the web; Meta Artificial Intelligence is also available in the United States on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses only. Very soon, this will be available on Meta Quest as well.
“With our most influential large language model under the cover, Meta AI is better than ever,” Meta said in the press release. “We’re happy to share our next-generation assistant with even more people and can’t wait to see how it improves people’s lives.”
In addition, the AI assistant’s image generation is now faster—ffast enough to produce images as the user types, the announcement said. This feature is now available in beta on WhatsApp and the Meta Artificial Intelligence website in the United States.
As further disclosed in the press release, with Meta Artificial Intelligence combined into the company’s apps, it can be used in feeds, chats, searches, and other functions without having to leave the app.
“You can right-click on real-time information from across the web without having to recoil between apps,” Meta said in the press release. “Let’s say your preparing for a ski trip in your Messenger group chat.
Using search in Messenger, you can ask Meta Artificial Intelligence to find flights to Colorado from New York and figure out the least crowded weekends to go all without leaving the Messenger app.”
Facebook Meta released the beta version of Meta AI in September 2023, saying the advanced conversational assistant could offer users real-time information and produce photorealistic images from users’ text products within seconds.
