Taylor Swift took the ultimate royal selfie before her Wembley gig – with none other than the Prince of Wales and two mini music fans, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kensington Palace shared a photo with the singer backstage at Friday night’s concert alongside the royal trio in a post on X, previously Twitter. Great evening, @TaylorSwift #thankyou the caption read.
It was a dad afternoon out for Prince William, who took his two eldest children to the hottest show in town: King Kong! on his 42nd birthday. He had flown in from Germany, where the previous evening he was among England fans watching the Euro 2024 game against Denmark.
She followed this with another selfie, this time joined by her boyfriend Travis Kelce as well as Prince William, 10-year-old Prince George and nine-year-old Princess Charlotte.

But despite stepping away from their royal duties, the couple’s youngest child appeared in an official photograph over the weekend to mark William’s birthday.
The Duke has been friends with pop sensation Swift, 34, for more than a decade. The pair sang Livin’ On A Prayer with Jon Bon Jovi in 2013 at a charity event at Kensington Palace.
Swift has been traveling the UK with Eras Tour dates in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff on Wednesday, taking fans on a journey through her hit-filled discography, including songs from 1989, Red and Midnights.
Nearly 90,000 fans poured into Wembley Stadium on Friday, some of whom had begun camping out just before dawn. Swift is playing the venue eight times this week and in August.
On Friday, among the other Swifties in the audience were Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer. People were spotted in the audience, including Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness, and model Cara Delevingne with Swifts parents, Andrea Scott.
London, where Taylor Swift lived in the early stages of her career, “is the most thrilling city in the world,” Swift said.
